The participants in the demonstration released a statement.

The statement said that the U.S. is trying to strengthen the military and political domination over the Asia-Pacific region and alliance with its followers.

Peoples are turning out in the struggle against the U.S. in those countries where there are U.S. military bases, it said, and went on:

The Obama administration should close all military bases in the Asia-Pacific region and stop all joint military drills.

The participants were opposed to the strengthening of the U.S.- south Korea-Japan military alliance and the signing of the U.S.-led Trans-Pacific Partnership.
