The Angolan president congratulated Kim Jong Un on his reelection as first chairman of the NDC of the DPRK on behalf of the Angolan government and on his own behalf, wishing him success in the noble work.

Kim Jong Un's reelection is the expression of the Korean people's trust in him who is leading the drive to defend peace and national unity and achieve the socio-economic development, the president said.

He expressed the belief that Kim Jong Un will wisely lead the work for stability and reconciliation on the Korean peninsula in conformity with the desire of the Korean people.

He reaffirmed the will of the Angolan government to continuously strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, paying highest tribute to Kim Jong Un.
