Speakers at the press conference said that there will be held the final hearing on an appeal for those related to the attempted rebellion case that day.

They said the Intelligence Service (IS) fabricated the case to cover up the truth behind the "government" bodies' illegal interference in the election following its disclosure.

It was also a fabrication to stamp out the progressive forces and check the movement for independent reunification, and a case to revive the most despicable "yusin" dictatorship which violates democracy and human rights, they noted, and went on:

The speakers expressed the will to wage an unflinching struggle with all their efforts for the release of lawmaker Ri Sok Gi and others related to the case.
