DPRK's Way of Activity
|
|
Pyongyang, May 7 (KCNA) -- "Let us produce, study and live like the anti-Japanese guerrillas!" -- this is a slogan seen everywhere in the DPRK. In March Juche 63 (1974) leader Kim Jong Il set forth the slogan after he proclaimed the program for modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism. Under the guidance of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the anti-Japanese guerrilla way of work and life turned into the DPRK way of activity in the era of Juche. The anti-Japanese guerrilla method of work has served as a traditional method of work for the Workers' Party of Korea. Kim Jong Il stressed that it is a Juche-based method of work for carrying on the revolution and construction in reliance on the popular masses. Meanwhile, a movement for winning the title of O Jung Hup-led 7th Regiment was launched in the Korean People's Army to follow the spirit of devotedly defending the leader, the spirit displayed by the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, under the slogan "Let us train, study and live like the anti-Japanese guerrillas!" The anti-Japanese guerrilla way of work and life was embodied in all realms of society, including politics, economy and culture, and the whole country turned into a grand sanctuary for education in the revolutionary traditions. "Reminiscences of Anti-Japanese Guerrillas" serve as a precious textbook of struggle and life for all the people. Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the DPRK, convened the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the Workers' Party of Korea in February this year and advanced a revolutionary slogan calling on the party information workers to work like the buglers of the anti-Japanese guerrilla army. All the DPRK people are now advancing vigorously along the road of independence, Songun (military-first policy) and socialism, holding higher the slogan "Let us produce, study and live like the anti-Japanese guerrillas!" |
