Attending the meeting were Kang Su Rin, chairperson of the Central Committee of the DPRK Red Cross Society, and officials of the society, officials concerned and members of the delegations and foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations here.

The meeting briefed on the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for the strengthening of the Red Cross Society, a proud path covered by it and the activities of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The participants talked about more briskly conducting Red Cross activities.

Colorful events were also held at branches of the Red Cross Society on the same occasion.
