Students of Methodist Theological College staged a surprise demo near Kwanghwamun in Seoul on Thursday, demanding the resignation of the Park regime and introduction of a special investigation into the ferry disaster.

All demonstrators were taken away by the police.

In press conferences on the same day students of Hanshin University, Kyonggi University, Jeonnam National University, Pusan National University and other universities strongly demanded the general resignation of the Cabinet as regards the ferry sinking accident.
