On display at the festival were at least 600 architectural designs for prize contest and scientific papers, at least 30 computer programs and multimedia presented by architects and technicians in the field of the construction, officials and students in the field of scientific and educational institutions from across the country.

Present at the ceremony were Tong Jong Ho, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry, Kang Yong Su, minister of Urban Management, Kim Kyong Jun, minister of Land and Environment Protection, officials concerned, officials in the fields of designing, construction, building materials and supervision, officials of fine arts studios and scientific research and educational institutions, architects, technicians, teachers, researchers and creators.

Sim Yong Hak, vice-chairman of the C.C., the Architects Union of Korea, made an opening ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony, they looked round the venue of the festival.
