Pyongyang, May 17 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People on May 14 in an editorial disclosed the aim sought by the Park Geun Hye group through its farce of replacing confidants. The editorial said that the authorities transferred to other post the news director of KBS who tried to downscale the ferry Sewol sinking disaster only to spark off uproar of the bereaved families of the victims and appointed the man who have an in with a high-ranking person in Chongwadae to replace him. The fact that the man was asked to come to Chongwadae a day before his appointment was brought to light to cause a social furor, it said, and went on: It means the Park Geun Hye "government" has replaced the former director with a more dependable guy. Even the man who played a key role in driving former "president" Ro Moo Hyon to death by persecuting him was appointed as a chief secretary for civilian administration of Chongwadae responsible for coping with the ferry sinking disaster. This disclosed the ulterior intention of Park to put the prevailing situation under control with one-sided high-handed stance. In the final analysis, Park is set to make preparations for an offensive phase as she is finding herself in a pretty fix. A similar farce finds expression in the fact that an ex-public prosecutor was appointed as an official of the Intelligence Service. |
