It will be sponsored by the contest organizing committee with Kanji Inoki, member of the House of Councilors of Japan who is also chief director of the Sports Peace Community Association of Japan, and Jang Ung, chairman of the International Martial Arts Games Committee who doubles as chairman of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, as its co-chairmen. The Sports Peace Community Association of Japan, International Martial Arts Games Committee and DPRK-Japan Friendship Association will render support to the contest.

World-renowned pro-wrestlers from Japan, the U.S. and other countries will take part in the contest to be held in the idea of independence, peace and friendship.
