The editorial said that Japan formally expressed its stand to exercise the "right to collective self-defense" through the amendment of the interpretation of the Pacifist Constitution.

This dangerous act arouses great concern, the editorial noted, and went on:

Worse still, south Korea has no effective means to prevent Japan from making a change in its policy.

This should never be overlooked as Japan can change its policy any time.

The "government" should think out a plan to cope with Japan's exercise of the "right to collective self-defense" and put it into practice.
