Minju Joson Lays Bare U.S. Ballad about "Threats"

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- 7.78 billion U.S. dollars were allotted to improving existing nuclear weapons and updating nukes, according to the budget for fiscal year 2015 mapped out by the U.S. Defense Department. This increased 11.6 percent compared with the budget for fiscal year 2014. The Missile Defense Agency of the U.S. Defense Department requested Congress to approve the budget amounting to 75 million U.S. dollars to deploy long-range identification radar needed for defending the mainland. Minju Joson Tuesday says in a commentary in this regard: Such moves of the U.S. clearly show that the ambition of the present U.S. administration to dominate the world has reached a very dangerous phase. What matters is that the U.S. is openly perpetrating such moves under the pretext of the "threats" from the DPRK. It is none other than the U.S. and its following forces that are posing a military threat to the DPRK. Nevertheless, the U.S. is talking about the "nuclear and missile threats" from the DPRK. It is aimed to label the DPRK "provocateur", justify armed buildup and thus ignite a new nuclear war on the Korean peninsula at any cost. The U.S. had better stop the farce to justify an attempt at aggression with unreasonable arguments and lend an ear to voices of the world aspiring after peace and stability. |
