DPRK Boxer Bags Gold Medal

| Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- DPRK boxer Ri Chung Il bagged a gold medal at the international boxing tournament named after Konstantin Korotkov held in Khabarovsk, Russia. The tournament brought together more than 70 ace boxers from 16 countries and regions including the DPRK, Cuba and Azerbaijan. Ri Chung Il trounced his Russian rival with knockout in the 52kg category. In the final match he defeated his Kazak rival 3:0. Meanwhile, Ham Jong Hyok, Kim Chung Hyok and Kim Myong Il bagged bronze medals in the 49kg, 52kg and 56kg category events. |
