He visited the paper Minju Chongnyon, predecessor of the Kumsong Youth Publishing House and the paper Chongnyon Jonwi on May 22, Juche 43 (1954) and gave important instructions which would serve as the guidelines in building media for youth and children.

He clarified the fundamental issues of building and developing media for youth and children into media of the leader and the party from A to Z, including the issue of editing well stories about the childhood of President Kim Il Sung, the issue of carrying stories about the struggle of members of the anti-Japanese children corps.

He stressed the need to edit many stories about Children's Union members' brave struggle against the enemies during the Fatherland Liberation War and stories of members of the Children's Union who were setting an example in the study and organizational life.

Meetings took place on Thursday.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league, officials, journalists, editors and employees of the Kumsong Youth Publishing House and the paper Chongnyon Jonwi.
