Hwang Myong, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, declared that the Sewol sinking disaster was a tragedy of the century caused by the south Korean society torn with the unpopular evil politics of the puppet reactionary ruling forces only seeking their own luxury and political greed indifferent to the people's life and safety, mammonism and frauds and irregularities and an unprecedented hideous one.

Pak Jong Song, chairman of the Hokkaido Headquarters of Chongryon, said that actions denouncing the Park Geun Hye "regime" for causing the Sewol sinking disaster are under way across south Korea and the south Korean media is also calling for the Park's resignation.

Mun Kwang Hui, chairman of the Aichi Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that history records a lot of sinking accidents but knows no such disaster and massacre as Sewol sinking tragedy.

He stressed that Park can never evade the responsibility for the massacre but deserves a stern judgment by history.

Ro Mu Hyon, chairman of the Hyogo Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, asserted that south Korea is a tundra of human rights ruthlessly violating the elementary rights of the people and Park Geun Hye, the kingpin of human rights abuses, should be eliminated.
