A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party who is chief of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to organize diverse events praising the sacred revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise.
