Art Exhibition of Overseas Young Compatriots Held in Russia

| Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- An art exhibition for peace of overseas Korean young people opened at the literature and art museum in Sakhalin Region, Russia on May 13 to mark the 65th anniversary of the founding of the New Koryo Paper published in the region. Displayed at the exhibition were art pieces presented by youth and students of the DPRK, Russia and overseas Korean students. Present at an opening-ceremony were the director of the paper, officials concerned, overseas Korean people and students and Russian personages. Speeches were made there. The participants went round art pieces on display. Then followed a congratulatory performance given by Russian students. |
