Present at the events were personages of the People Unity "Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party and the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Kyrgyzstan and the Communist Party of Tajikistan and other masses.

A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the Kyrgyz party, said:

It was of great significance for developing the WPK that Kim Jong Il started the work at its Central Committee 50 years ago.

He consolidated in every way the party's unity and cohesion centered on the leader in thought and purpose and developed the party into the most revolutionary and militant party.

He wisely led the party to creditably perform its role as guide and organizer in advancing the Korean revolution to victory.

Sh. Shabdolov, chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, said:

Kim Jong Il let the WPK dynamically advance along the proud road of victory and glory.

First of all, he comprehensively systemized and developed in depth the immortal Juche idea propounded by Comrade Kim Il Sung, the founder of the WPK.

He achieved the unity and cohesion of the whole party based on the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung, and saw to it that party building and party activities were conducted, guided by the idea and intention of the leader only.

The WPK could thus develop into the party of Kim Il Sung.

The great exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for developing the WPK will shine for all ages.
