The editorial says:

The revolutionary traditions serve as strong roots of the Party and the revolution and their lifeblood.

It is a bitter lesson taught by the history of the socialist movement that if a party neglects a revolutionary tradition, people will be infected with undesirable ideas and a revolution undergoes twists and turns and they will give up the cause of their leader half-way.

The enemies are now directing the spearhead of attack to shaking the revolutionary faith of the army and people to share their destiny with socialism to the last, following their party and leader only.

It is the ulterior intention of the imperialists to benumb the revolutionary spirit of the Korean people and ideologically disintegrate them through conspiratorial actions and fabrications, reactionary ideological and cultural poisoning and psychological warfare against the DPRK.

Unshakable is the faith of the party, army and people to firmly protect the revolutionary traditions of Mt. Paektu and carry forward them in order to accomplish the great cause of Mt. Paektu.

The editorial calls for further intensifying the above-said education as required by the developing revolution and thus dynamically advance the revolutionary cause of Juche and the revolutionary cause of Songun with the spirit and pluck of Mt. Paektu and in the revolutionary spirit of Mt. Paektu.
