A lecture and film show took place in Nigeria and a lecture, photo exhibition and film show in Guinea on May 22 and 26.

Displayed at the venue of the photo exhibition were photos dealing with exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

On display there were photos showing the Korean people building a thriving nation.

Films shown included Korean film "Monument to Party Founding".

Ahmed Blaza Lawan, chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Songun Politics, said:

Kim Jong Il had paid deep attention to the unity of the whole party in idea and purpose since he started the work at the C.C., the WPK. He set forth the programme to imbue the whole party with the Juche idea, the revolutionary idea of Kim Il Sung, and energetically led the work to do so.

He made sure that the WPK has consistently maintained its revolutionary principles. This is one of the distinguished exploits performed by him in the party building.

The Korean people and progressive mankind will always remember Kim Jong Il who formulated the original Songun politics based on the Songun idea as the basic political mode under socialism, thoroughly applied it and thus defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country and socialism and made a great contribution to the world peace and security.

The vice-chairman of the Guinean Kimilsungia-Kimjongilia Association said that Kim Jong Il was a great leader in the era of independence who devoted his whole life to the happiness of the people and the accomplishment of the cause of global independence.
