Rodong Sinmun Raps S. Korean Warmongers' Military Provocation Moves

Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the south Korean puppet bellicose forces fired shells at the navy warships of the Korean People's Army on a routine guard duty in the hot spot of the West Sea. They are floating rumors that "the north fired shells first" like a thief crying "Stop thief", escalating provocation racket. They even staged the largest-ever drills for emergency sorties, blustering that they would "make a relentless punishment if the north provokes".

A commentary of Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in this regard:

What can never be overlooked is that the puppet military is escalating provocation ruckus while deliberately straining the situation.

It is the aim of the puppet military to push tensions to an extreme phase and pave the way of the present regime driven into the worst ruling crisis in a bid to curry favor with Park Geun Hye and escalate confrontation with the north and ignite a war against it.

Such reckless act is creating even the danger of unpredictable armed clash between the north and the south.

The Korean nation can neither live in peace nor can south Korea escape from misfortune and disaster as long as the puppet military war-like forces are left as intact.

They should be punished at an early date as they are bringing holocaust to the nation in a bid to attain their sinister political purpose. This is a conclusion made by the DPRK again.

If the DPRK starts merciless and thoroughgoing strike, the puppet military hooligans will not go scot-free.

The Park Geun Hye group had better stop at once foolish military provocations which will bring self-destruction to it.
