Present there were members of the delegation, the DPRK ambassador to Kuwait, the head of the office of the heir to the emir, the head of the Seretaries Office of the National Assembly and officials concerned.

The heir to the emir expressed the firm stand of the government of Kuwait to boost the cooperative relations between the two countries in different fields including politics, economy and culture.

He hoped that the north and the south of Korea would achieve peaceful reunification free from foreign interference.

He stressed the need to boost mutual support and cooperation in the interantional arena.

The speaker of the National Assembly said that the DPRK foreign minister's visit to Kuwait was a clear proof that the friendly relations between the two countries were invariably developling under the care of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

He expressed his expectation that the visit would be a significant occasion in developing the bilateral relations.
