This success was the fruition of the wise leadership of supreme commander Kim Jong Un who showed profound trust and loving care for the fishermen and led them in every aspect of their work and the devoted drive waged by them in hearty response to the call of the Party.

Kim Jong Un sent thanks to those officials and fishermen for their great success in hauling seafood.

A meeting to convey the thanks took place on Tuesday.

Present there were Vice Marshal of the Korean People's Army Hwang Pyong So, director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, Jang Jong Nam, minister of the People's Armed Forces, So Hong Chan, first vice-minister of the People's Armed Forces, generals and officers of the KPA, officials and fishermen of the fishery units on the West Coast.

After the thanks were conveyed, participants took the floor.

Then an appeal to the officials and fishermen in the fishery field across the country was adopted at the meeting.

A performance was given by the KPA Song and Dance Ensemble at the end of the meeting.
