The commentary referred to the fact that the authorities appointed Kim Kwan Jin as chief of the security office of Chongwadae.

It said that Kim, minister of Defense, illegally interfered in the past "presidential" election with red herring through the cyber command.

When this fact was disclosed, Kim said that the role of the cyber command included psychological warfare at home, it charged.

Noting that the psychological warfare is part of military actions against the other party, it held that Kim believes that the military may take a military action against their people.

Kim has pushed forward the offensive strategy for a preemptive strike at the north under the pretext of the "tailored deterrence strategy" and thus escalated military tensions on the Korean peninsula, it said, adding:

At a time when the peaceful settlement of the south-north relations presents itself as more important issue than ever before, the appointment of the guy insisting on the high-handed policy toward the north as chief of the security office shows that "confidence-building process" and "Dresden Declaration" are nothing but wordplays.

Park's appointment of the person from hard-line military as the chief of the security office cannot but be interpreted otherwise than her persistent stand that the security office is not a command for preventing disasters.

It demanded a cancellation of the appointment of Kim as chief of the security office of Chongwadae.

Meanwhile, the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification launched a demo before Chongwadae in demand of the repeal of the appointment.
