Implementation of Joint Declaration Called for in S. Korea

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- South Korean organizations for the reunification movement held a rally in Seoul on May 31 and expressed the will to turn out in the efforts to implement the June 15 joint declaration on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of the publication of the joint declaration.

Present there were members of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy, the Bar Association for Democratic Society, the Artists Association and Thongil News.

The full text of the June 15 joint declaration was read out at the rally.

At the rally speakers underlined the need to implement the joint declaration at any cost and reunify the country independently with concerted efforts of the Korean nation.
