Displayed at the venue of the event was a photo of Kim Jong Il meeting with Xi Jinping with the flags of the two countries in the background.

On show there were photos documenting undying feats of Kim Jong Il.

Also on display were works of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un, and books and photos introducing the Korean people in their efforts to perform miracles in building a thriving nation.

The exhibition hall decorated with over 10 000 potted Kimjongilias was amazing.

The hall was crowded with a large number of people every day who were fascinated by the flowers.

The vice-secretary general of the Dalian City People's Government said that he could not forget Kim Jong Il's visit to the city. He went on:

Upon the news of his tour of several units in the city I was deeply impressed to hear that the top leader of the country was so much concerned about the field related to improving the people's living standard.

His visit to the city greatly contributed to the development of Sino-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations.

The chairman of the Dalian City Floricultural Association said:

Kimjongilias will be in full bloom in the city thanks to the great reverence of the Chinese people for Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people.

I will make positive efforts for the cultivation of the flowers in not only the city but also other places of China.
