The military drills are aimed to destroy weapons of mass destruction such as the nukes and biochemical weapons of the DPRK to cope with what the warmongers call the "contingency in the north".

The exercises are to be staged in a military training base in the U.S. mainland for four weeks.

A motorized infantry unit, the special warfare command, and a chemical, biological and radioactive unit of the south Korean army are to take part in the military drills.

South Koreans from all walks of life are condemning the drills, saying that they are aimed at acquiring the combined operation capability to destroy the north's nukes together with a U.S. chemical unit redeployed in south Korea.

South Korean military forces, meanwhile, are waging a joint naval drill together with the U.S. aggression forces in the East Sea of Korea to attack the DPRK, according to the south Korean MBC on June 6.

Among the warships involved in the drill are John S. McCain, the capital ship of the 7th Fleet of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces, two Aegis ships, a submarine, an antisubmarine patrol plane, etc. which have the whole of the Korean Peninsula as their operational theatre.

As they are driven into a tight corner by the catastrophic ferry sinking disaster, the south Korean war hawks are recklessly resorting to the drill for a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK in league with the U.S. imperialists in order to tide over the crisis with war exercises.
