Nigerian Figures Visit Mangyongdae

Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Jidda Baba Ahmed, secretary of the Borno State Government of Nigeria, and his party visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung. At the old home in Mangyongdae where the President spent his childhood, the guests looked round the historic relics preserved with much care there, being briefed on the story about the home. They toured the historic relics on Mangyong Hill. The secretary said the President was born in a simple family and grew up while cultivating his great intention of the revolution from his childhood. The family members in Mangyongdae are patriots who devoted their all to the country and the people all their lives, he said. The visit offered an opportunity to know well about the history of the arduous struggle waged by the President, he added. They toured the Breast Tumour Institute of the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital. At the end of the visit, the secretary said that supreme leader Kim Jong Un has shown deep loving care for the people. We came to know well about the warm love for the people shown by him who spares nothing for the health of the people, he added. They also toured the Tower of the Juche Idea, Okryu Children's Hospital and Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace. |
