Andre Aubry, president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events including remembrance meeting and seminar on the sacred revolutionary career of the President and his immortal exploits on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise.
