State Commendations Awarded to Those Performed Labor Feats in Remodeling Songdowon Int'l Children's Camp

| Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- State recommendations were awarded to soldier-builders, designers, officials and other people who performed great labor feats in successfully finishing in the shortest time the project for remodeling the Songdowon International Children's Camp. The title of the DPRK Labor Hero and gold medal (hammer and sickle) and Order of National Flag 1st Class were conferred on Ri Kwang Il, Jin Ki Song and Wi Yong Guk. Kim Il Sung Prize was awarded to Pak Chang Sik, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize to Pak Jong Won, Kang Chol Ju and Ri Kwang Ho and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to Jang Jong Hun, Kim Jin Hyok, Choe Sok Chol and Kim Jong Chol. The title of Designer of Merit went to three persons, the title of Technician of Merit to one person, the title of Builder of Merit to two persons, the title of Driver of Merit to two persons and the title of Artiste of Merit to one person. Order of National Flag 1st Class were conferred on 25 persons, Order of Labor on 31 persons, Order of National Flag 2nd Class on 308 persons, Order of National Flag 3rd Class on 804 persons, Distinguished Military Service Medal on 1,536 persons and Medal of Merit on 116 persons. A decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK was promulgated on Monday. |
