School Youth and Children Commemorate Anniversary of Victory in Battles in Musan Area

| Taehongdan, June 10 (KCNA) -- School youth and children Tuesday held a meeting in front of the Monument to the Victorious Battles in Musan Area on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the victory in the battles in Musan area. They vowed to carry forward and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche and the revolutionary cause of Songun started in Mt. Paektu, under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. The participants in the meeting laid a floral basket and flowers before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the monument and paid tribute to him. Led by Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the youth league Central Committee, they vowed to remain faithful to the leadership of Kim Jong Un. At the end of the meeting they looked round the statue of Kim Il Sung, a relievo depicting anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk and other relievos dealing with the indomitable struggle of anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners, a large group of sculptures of subsidiary themes depicting the struggle of the explorers of the plateau and representing the present happy life of the people in Taehongdan, the tower of a rifle and a monument to the revolutionary history. |
