Kim Jong Il Praised by Myanmar Personages

| Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- The Yangon Regional Committee of the Union Solidarity and Development Party of Myanmar and a publishing house of Myanmar held meetings on May 29 and June 5 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). Displayed at the venues of the meetings were photos of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. The acting secretary of the Yangon Regional Committee of the party said: The WPK has covered the road of victory and glory and the DPRK proudly emerged a political, ideological and military power thanks to the wise leadership of HE Kim Jong Il. The WPK could emerge victorious by meeting all challenges of hostile forces as it was led by President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. The general manager of the publishing house said: Kim Jong Il devoted his all to strengthening the WPK, achieving the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people and accomplishing the human cause of independence. His exploits will be immortal. |
