The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said this in a joint statement on May 30.

The statement accused the U.S. forces side of its recent undesirable provocations at Panmunjom.

It went on:

All these provocations against the DPRK are serious violations of the security order and rules in the area of Panmunjom and the area along the Military Demarcation Line.

It is the ulterior intention of the U.S. forces side to deceive the world by creating the impression that the "UN Command" and the armistice mechanism are still functioning and invent a pretext for hurling even a single more country into the Korean front in contingency through such ridiculous charade.

The statement demanded the immediate disbandment of the "UN Command".
