The statement said:

Panmunjom is not only a symbol of Korea's division but also the place which bears witness to the U.S. imperialists' defeat as the Armistice Agreement was concluded there.

We denounce the U.S. imperialists for trying to draw into the "UN Command" even Norway, Denmark and Italy which did not take part in the Korean War.

Such cunning move is an ulterior attempt to make another "international alliance" against the DPRK.

It was a vicious provocation that the U.S. set up a huge steel watchtower on a ridge in the area of the conference room at Panmunjom.

We urge the U.S. to stop the provocative acts against the DPRK at once.

We demand the U.S. dismantle the "UN Command" and withdraw all its aggressor forces from south Korea.
