A ceremony of kicking off the study tour took place before the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Pochonbo in Hyesan City on Wednesday.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the statue of President Kim Il Sung and paid tribute to him.

At the ceremony speakers said that the study tour should mark an important occasion of making officials and members of the trade unions harden their faith to accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche started in Mt. Paektu under the Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the monument before visiting the Ryanggang Provincial Revolutionary Museum, Hyesan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery, etc.
