Set of Ceramic Vessels, Gift to Kim Jong Il from Ecuador

| Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- On display at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK is a set of ceramic vessels, a gift presented to leader Kim Jong Il by Humberto Ortiz Flores, general manager of Ecuador's "Voluntad" Publishing House, on February 16, Juche 70 (1981). As an ardent follower of the Juche idea, the general manager prepared the gift to celebrate Kim Jong Il's birthday with his deep reverence. The gift, consisting of 58 pieces of vessels mostly tinted with deep brown, includes two oval plates, 12 platters, 12 small plates, 6 cups, 6 wine-cups and 6 mats, one milk-cup, one cruet, two pepper jars, 6 small bowls and 4 cup mats. |
