A member of the Leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, were elected co-chairpersons of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and organize political and cultural events on the occasion of July 8, the anniversary of his demise.
