L. Shukolinikov, chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career of the President and his exploits and hold political and cultural events including remembrance meeting on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise.
