Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, said remarkable successes unimaginable in the past were made in the movement for Korea's reunification since the publication of the declaration, adding:

Dark clouds of a war and confrontation are hanging in the sky above the Korean peninsula owing to the moves of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities.

The eye-opening reality on the Korean peninsula after the adoption of the declaration clearly showed that the Korean nation can put an end to the shameful history of division and domination and interference of outsiders and build a reunified power if it gets united under the banner of independence.

A message of solidarity to Marshal Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
