Kim Il Sung to Be Remembered in Syria

| Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- A Syrian committee for remembering HE Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the friendly Korean people, was formed on June 8. The director of the Higher Education Department of the Regional Leadership of the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party was elected chairman of the remembrance committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events praising the exploits of the President on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his demise. |
