S. Korean Organizations Call for Strengthening Reunification Movement

Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- South Korean organizations including the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the Confederation of Trade Unions and the Reunification Meeting held a rally in Seoul on June 12 at which they expressed the will to push ahead with the movement for national reunification.

At the rally speakers referred to the significance and importance of the June 15 joint declaration, saying that the declaration whose idea is By Our Nation Itself was adopted 55 years since the national division.

The joint declaration clearly indicates the orientation of the aspiration of the Korean nation for reunification as it recognizes commonness of the south side's proposal by confederal formula and the north side's low-stage proposal by federal formula, they noted.

They declared that they would organize the vanguard for reunification comprising workers and wage a struggle to strengthen the reunification movement.

The vanguard will deal a telling blow at the Park Geun Hye's "government" talking about "a great opportunity of unification".
