New Stamps Issued in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The State Stamp Bureau of the DPRK brought out a new stamp (individual one) to mark the 140th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union and the 40th anniversary of the DPRK's entry into the UPU.

Seen in the upper part of the stamp are letters "140th Anniv. of Founding of the Universal Postal Union" and "1874-Juche 103 (2014)" and in the lower part letters "40th Anniv. of the DPRK's Entry into the UPU".

Pictured in the stamp are a dove with envelop in its beak, a mailman and an old person reading a letter against the UPU mark and earth.

Meanwhile, the bureau also published four kinds of individual stamps picturing shellfish and fish.
