Reception Given at British Embassy

| Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The British embassy here gave a reception on Monday on the occasion of the official birthday of the queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (national day). Present there on invitation were Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kung Sok Ung, Vice-Minister of Foreign Trade O Ryong Chol, Vice-Minister of Physical Culture and Sports Kim Pyong Sik and other officials concerned, diplomatic envoys of different countries and staff members of missions of international organizations here. British Ambassador to the DPRK Michael John Gifford and staff members of his embassy were on hand. Speeches were made at the reception. |
