Korean Book, Photo and Fine Art Exhibition Opens in China

| Beijing, June 16 (KCNA) -- A Korean book, photo and fine art exhibition opened with due ceremony in Foshan City, Guangdong Province of China on June 13 to mark the 50th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). On display at the venue of the exhibition were photos documenting the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. There were also works of the peerless great men of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and fine art pieces associated with creative talents of the Korean people. Present at the opening ceremony were officials and other people in the city and staff members of the DPRK embassy in Beijing and officials of the Korean Overseas Exhibition General Bureau. The exhibition will last till June 20. |
