The DPRK's leading papers Tuesday in their commentaries term this a dangerous provocation aimed at mounting a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK and an unpardonable criminal act of harassing peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the rest of Northeast Asia and escalating the danger of a nuclear war.

Rodong Sinmun says in this regard:

The projected deployment of THAAD in south Korea brings to light the adventurous scenario of the U.S. bellicose forces to invade the DPRK, threaten its neighboring countries and dominate the Asia-Pacific region.

The deployment of THAAD in south Korea would drive again the situation on the Korean peninsula to the worst pitch of tension and escalate the danger of a nuclear war in Northeast Asia.

Absolutely unpardonable are military provocations of the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers who conspire and collude with each other to deploy THAAD and establish the MD in south Korea.

Minju Joson warns that south Korea will be the first to suffer from the deployment of THAAD in south Korea and its moves to join in the U.S. MD.

The south Korean puppet group should bear in mind that the deployment of THAAD is no more than a suicidal act of bringing the nuclear disaster to south Korea, it notes.
