On show are more than 1 600 varieties of consumer goods presented by ministries, national institutions, industrial establishments, joint-venture units and trade companies.

Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Yong Jin, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials and workers of the units supplying commodities.

Kim Kyong Nam, minister of Commerce, made an opening address.

The participants looked round the exhibition hall after the ceremony.
