The bulletin carried an article titled "Start of work at the Central Committee of WPK" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

He developed the WPK into a revolutionary party of Juche type guided by the idea of President Kim Il Sung and a vanguard rank resolutely defending and glorifying his idea and exploits, the article said, and went on:

At the end of the last century when the Korean revolution faced the severest ordeals, all the service personnel and people of the DPRK keenly realized what a great fortune they had by holding Kim Jong Il at the head of the WPK in high esteem.

It is the greatest honor and happiness of the Korean people to have Marshal Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the idea and intention of the President and Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the way to develop the WPK into the eternally glorious party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Thanks to his wise leadership, the ever-victorious history of the WPK will be given a steady continuity with the immortal Juche idea.
