The commentary said that the joint declaration is a historic agreement which the top leaders of the south and the north signed and paved the way of reconciliation and reunification for the first time in the history of Korean division.

It demanded the south Korean authorities restore the spirit of the joint declaration, immediately opt for unconditional dialogue and resume the south-north exchange and cooperation.
