Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- A lot of odes to the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) have been created over the past half a century since "O Mother Party", the first monumental hymn which sings of the WPK as a mother, was produced in the DPRK in Juche 53 (1964). The last century witnessed the production of dozens of songs dedicated to the party such as "Care of the Mother Party," "The Party Means the Mother and I Am Her Son" and "O Mother Party Which Protected My Destiny." The party warmly embraced the people under its red flag and opened a rosy future of prosperity, meeting all challenges of history with arms of Songun despite unprecedentedly arduous trials. These great exploits of the party are reflected in the odes to General Kim Jong Il, the sun of Songun, and songs of the victory of Songun which reverberated far and wide across the country. Songs of thanks and songs of pledge dedicated to the WPK were successfully created in the year which marked its 65th founding anniversary and witnessed the 3rd Conference of the WPK. Song "Party Means the Care of the General," in particular, reached the cream of hymns to the party as it raised to the highest level all ideological sentiments represented in the hymns created in the past period. "Glory to Our Great Party" and other songs helped the stirring era in which great changes took place in carrying out the party's revolutionary cause seethe with excitement and joy. Song "Fly High Our Party Flag" created in the 1980s marking the 67th founding anniversary of the WPK was successfully re-represented to resound forth. Song "Party's Flag, Always with You", hymn to the party, was created last year and song "Voice from My Heart", the most famous music, was produced this year. |
