They paid tribute to the wax replicas of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

They went round gifts presented by party, state and government leaders and prominent figures of many countries.

At the end of the visit the ambassador wrote in the visitor's book:

"I am pleased to visit the exhibition house on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Our visit to the exhibition house offered an opportunity to know better about the history of the bilateral friendly relations provided by President Kaysone Phomvihane and President Kim Il Sung, the eternal leader of the Korean people.

Kim Il Sung rendered unsparing support and encouragement to the Lao people in their struggle for national liberation.

It is my hope that Korea will be reunified peacefully."
