The statement said:

The June 15 joint declaration was jointly signed by the north and the south of Korea and is recognized by the world. However, the U.S. and south Korean puppet authorities are laying obstacles in the way of reunifying Korea, totally denying the joint declaration.

The Park Geun Hye group of south Korea should not insist on "unification by absorption" by kowtowing to the U.S. imperialists against the interests of the Korean nation but sincerely opt for implementing the June 15 joint declaration agreed upon by the north and the south.

The progressive people of Peru extend firm solidarity to the just struggle of the Korean people for national reunification.
